As I realized, the latest official version of Emerald is 0.8.4.
I don’t know why it was declared 0.8.6 by the X11:XGL team in their project, might be because of publishing it in the same version as Compiz.
Since Compiz will be at → 0.9 soon, I’ll change the version of my package back to 0.8.4.
Furthermore, compiz-emerald will be renamed to emerald, as well as compiz-emerald-themes to emerald-themes.
So don’t wonder about that.
Still no news for Emerald and OS 11.4 
Nevertheless, it won’t take long until it’s not compatible with Compiz anymore. But as I recently read they are working on a replacement that’s able to handle emerald-themes.
If there’s anybody who has already tried Emerald with Compiz 0.9, please let me know if there’s any hope…
